with the completion of our studies at penn, kenta and i embark in an historical journey, the architectural grand tour in the united states.   our first stop is la jolla, with the sole aim of seeing louis i kahn’s salk institute.  unfortunately, ‘sunny’ california was not so sunny after all.  we indulge ourselves within this masterpiece in chilly weather.
