talk about diagramming

This came up on TED for quite a few months, and if you know me, i'm always interested with what goes on at Google (disclaimer: I don't own any stock as of yet). These people know how to diagram. We don't.

vs blog = bs blog???

ok, so why the f#ck do we need yet another blog for VS????? don't we have a flickr gorup already? c'mon people, if we are organized we can live with one freakin' blog, stop wasting bandwidth!

studio blog

fyi, this is also going to become my studio blog effective immediately... i felt it would be silly to have more than 1 blog (since all entries are searchable and taggable anyways)

First week of classes

And year 600 begins! This semester I got my 2nd choice for my studio instructor (we have a lottery system this semester)... Gisela Baurmann, who's actually Jonas's partner. She actually does some pretty cool work... all in all very satisfied with the situation....... I'm beginning to like the schedule this semester. Basically we don't have any class on Wed or Fri, unless we have Visual Studies or Propractice, whereby studio is shifted to Wed (instead of Mon/Thurs), and we have VS on Thur/Fri and PP on fri.

Yesterday I had the chance to proof read Lily Jencks's article for the coming edition of the revived ˆviaˆmagazine for UPenn, which has probably been out of print for the past decade at least. I'm really excited about it and am planning to join next semester. It's about time we had something comparable to GSD's design magazine!

school starts soon

very excited about school, 601 seems like its going to be very interesting.... i've decided tentatively that i'd like to have either braummer or hoang for studio, since their projects seem very interesting and i've heard both of them are very talented designers... hoang's studio seems like its going to be pretty busy, but as long as the instructor is easy to get along with, i have no problem.

well, this is the last weekend before school.. i wanted to go to new york but i don't think i have enough time.... my windows partition broke down yesterday... well, it was more like i wanted to increase the size of the windows partition but i was unable to do so, since the disk is too fragmented... so basically i spent all night reformatting my drive, reinstalling OS X and windows... basically have everything back in place now, ad of course it's freed up a lot of space, since all the crap i had on my computer, esp in windows, is either backed up or wiped out.

MY 2007FPW Dell 20" FLAT PANEL IS HERE!!!!! Wow it works really well, and the multiple inputs are useful since I have 2 computers running.... sorry for the crappy photo... i had to take it with my apple isight since i was in windows and didn't want to connect my digital camera :P
